Customer Reviews about Convenient Care
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I would never expect for free milk and cookies in the waiting area and nor i should, but for the 2 and a half hours in which i spent my monday inside the walls of the establishment for my lower back pain i felt like the doctor and staff didn't care about my visit and most importantly my well being. My whole intent was to find the source and treatment for my ailing back and all i got was an echo from my doctor to take more bayer and get a new matress that is firm. well doc my bed was givin to me because it was firm. today as i feel my back i notice a large knot on my lower back, perhaps he would have noticed yesterday if he inspected the area as long as he had me take deep breathes and walk on my heels. Luckily this lesson in life was ended very soon after along with my $75 Co-PayOctober 19, 2017by A Google User
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My boyfriend and myself went here a couple of weeks ago because he was extremely sick with cold sweats, high fever, and a sore throat. We had looked up symptoms and had figured he had a sinus infection and some sort of strep/tonsillitis. We waited 2 hours to be seen for the doctor for literally less than 2 minutes, before they moved us rooms to make way for another patient the they abandoned us for. They gave him a script for antibiotics for the tonsillitis, and when we questioned the sinus infection, they said the antibiotic would fix it. he was supposed to take the antibiotics 3 times daily, but ended up having to take it every 4-6 hours due to the severity of the infection. They gave him nothing for his throat pain, even though he hadn't been able to eat for days. when leaving, the receptionist seemed indifferent and we had to pay a 130 dollar copay! two weeks have gone by, and the doctor said to call back if we had any issues. His sinus infection has not gone away and he has been miserable! we went back up there to ask for a refill on the prescription, they told us we would have to pay the 130$ again to see the crap doctor who gave the worthless prescription. Will never return because of their lack of concern. Would be terrible luck if they ended up in our position one day....sarcasm.May 02, 2017by Stacy Steele
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I'm sure they mean well, but this specific convenient care clinic has mistreated me on a number of occassions, while other ones I've been to are generally much nicer in all aspects. About 7 months ago, I went in for constipation and was told to simply drink more water and take a laxative. I later discovered that this treatment did far more harm than good, as it turned out I had hemorrhoids and the laxative prescribed had irritated them to the point of causing me to become severely ill for 2 months. Just yesterday, I went in for blinding tooth pain and this time I was promptly seen to (which was a godsend, since it was a Saturday and almost all the other clinics were closed or full up). I was given a prescription for my pain and for the swollen nerve, which turns out to be in the early stages of infection. The antibiotic prescription is working swiftly and wonderfully, however the pain medication, while effective, seems to have some extremely unbearable side effects, some of the common ones being severe. I was told that I could take these pills as needed (as in, "pop one" wait a few hours, if you need another one after 4 to 6 hours pop another one), but upon further inspection, it turns out that this specific pain medication is a prescription opiate with a high addiction rate. This is not a drug to take as needed, but one that should be very carefully measured out. I've only taken two, and don't plan on taking them anymore as the antibiotic is helping the nerve itself and has reduced the pain. This is the best treatment I've ever gotten from them, but the glaring flaw is that I was prescribed an addictive drug without being asked about addiction history or told that it was addictive. I was, in fact, encouraged by the nurse to just take them whenever I thought I needed them. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the pain subsided long enough to let the antibiotic get to work, and the pill was the appropriate strength for the type of pain I was having. The side effects of this pill is also not their fault (much of what I'm experiencing is normal for this pill, and normal for my history with pain medication). But if something is addictive, more care should be taken with instructions involving this prescription.November 25, 2016by A Google User
